If you’ve been hanging out on social recently, you may have heard or seen the word ‘Clubhouse’ floating about. But what the heck is it!?
Clubhouse is an audio-based social media platform that allows you to move around virtual rooms that cover a range of different topics including culture, music, business, investment, art, politics and anything you could possibly think of!
It’s all about connecting people via audio. You’re free to listen into conversations that are happening, join in those conversations by speaking or create and host your own room altogether.
I’ve only been on the app a short amount of time, but wow, the content, educational, informative information I have consumed is incredible and all for FREE! Whatever your niche and interests are, the app has it covered, and it’s only set to grow. The members on the app include CEOs, celebrities, investors, writers., the list goes on.. all ready to speak up, share and network.
The virtual rooms cannot be recorded, encouraging live, natural, authentic and reactive conversations.
The Clubhouse app doesn’t base itself on likes or how many followers you have, actually the more people YOU are following the better! Your feed becomes enriched with positive and interesting conversations.
The app is still in BETA testing (January 2021) but the developers are working hard to roll this out publicly soon with improvements and new features. They are constantly sending users updates of their progress which is promising.
At the moment it’s exclusive and invite-only but if you sign-up you’ll be put on a virtual waiting list where you can reserve your username. Interested? The Clubhouse app is currently (Jan 2021) available to download for iPhone users only. As mentioned, you can reserve your username and will have to wait in line to have access to the app. But there is a way to get straight to the front…
I have TWO exclusive invites to give away to move you right to the front of the Clubhouse list and start using the app today. Entry details are over on @sociallysj.
