How to use Instagram Guides

Have you looked into the Instagram Guides feature? What is it? How can you use it? How do you even find it!

Instagram Guides is a feature that has been created to access content easily. It’s a way individuals can organise their posts into relevant categories so users don’t have to scroll though 100s of posts.

It’s a way business can create focused content, product guides, and highlight collections and campaigns.

It’s a way we can highlight our favourite restaurants, recipes, skincare, makeup and more!

It’s like a mini blog post, without leaving Instagram!

Instagram Guides is a feature where you can easily find curated content, tips and recommendations. When using Guides, you'll find there are three different Instagram Guide formats:

Places: Recommend your favourite places

Products: Recommend your favourite products from your own shop or others

Posts: Recommend posts you’ve created or saved

So how can you use Instagram guides? Whether you are an individual, influencer, content creator, small business or big brand, you can use Instagram Guides in many ways!

• Use it to organise content so your posts are in categories and easier to find!

• Use it to create gift guides and link to your product posts.

• Use it to recommend your favourite products, recipes, makeup and more!

How do you get access to Instagram Guides? Click the + sign at the top of your profile page.

Select Guides in the list of options.

You can explore other guides by clicking the shop button along the bottom bar of your homepage. You can then swipe across the top bar until you see ‘Explore Guides’

Click ‘Explore Guides’ and discover how other people have used Instagram Guides!
